“Sónar Festival, in collaboration with Barcelona’s Taller de Musics, are launching a new mentorship program focused on electronic music, led by the producer, DJ and label owner Cora Novoa. An established presence in Barcelona’s dance music community, and with releases on Hivern Disc, Klangwelt and her own Seeking the Velvet label, over the course of a month, Cora Novoa will work hand to hand with three composers and musicians enrolled at the prestigious music school, defining processes and creating work spanning electronica, acoustic instrumentation and computer aided composition techniques. The end result of this collaboration will then be presented live in Barcelona and other cities later this year.”
