“Cora came over to my place to work on ‘Lento Ternura.’ Several ideas came out of our session, and one of them became the foundation on which I composed ‘Ternura.’ Cora gave me the freedom to approach it my way and take it in a different direction from the original. For this remix EP, I needed her vision to be there—to go back to the original tracks and create the song she had imagined.”
